History

At 24 years of age, Terry (aka DOWNTOWN TERRY BROWN...) has run 6 second passes in a door slammer car against top names like Gary Irving, Carl Spiering and Andy Rankin. Still he has no fear.  The next time you get the opportunity to see Terry run at the track, take note, he has a style, flair and sportsmanship like no other. Be sure to stop by the pit area and say hi to Terry and his crew. PS  Take lots of photos too!!!

In 1999 Terry street drove his Challenger. In his spare time he frequented the local drag strips, running 10 second passes.

In 2000, the Challenger which was still in street trim was now able to run 8 seconds in the quarter mile.

In 2001, the car became no longer street legal, ran 6 second passes and still Terry wanted more......

2002 Was an exciting year for Terry as he won Performance World Best Competitor, Best Motor and Best Pro Modified Classes and was also a cover feature in RPM Classifieds Magazine.July 5, 2003 - St. Thomas - a HOT RIDE FOR Terry as he suffered an engine fire at the CanAm Nationals when his throttle stuck in an 1/8 mile race.

July 6, 2003 - St. Thomas - With Crew completely exhausted, the car is ready to go.  Too much power for the track conditions and tire shake pushed Terry out from going on further.

July 11 - 13, 2003 - Terry attended the first annual Canadian Fastest Street Car Shootout hosted by Chris and Trish Biro of RPM Classifieds. With some awesome track conditions developing after very heavy rains all day Friday and in the morning Saturday, Terry raced his way into Runnerup position for this inaugural event with some amazing smokey burnouts for the fans along the way.

Much of the remainder of the season was spent in testing and tuning as well as attending the OSCA Events to complete the season and bring home the trophy!!!
